Sign the Petition to demand that Chicago’s Cook County Prosecutor drop unjust charges against Tiawanda Moore, a 20-year-old victim of sexual assault by a police officer.
Ms. Moore is facing felony charges after she simply attempted to file a sexual harassment complaint against a Chicago police officer for fondling her during a domestic violence interview at her home. She began recording the Internal Affairs officers when they tried to discourage her complaint instead of helping her. She has been charged with violating the Illinois felony eavesdropping law and now faces trial on May 3, 2011.
